This is Team 5's submission for the 2022 REGENERATE game jam!
The forest is dying and you are the only one that can help. Talk to the Tree of the soil and with his guidance regenerate the forest!
Controls:
WASD - movement
Shift - sprint
Left Mouse - Interact
ESC - exit game (WARNING IMMEDIATLY CLOSES GAME)

Loved the jam splash in your startup, totally stealing that idea!
Very spooky and atmospheric - it reminded me of the Foresaken areas in WoW. Loved the twisty details on the trees, looks really cool!
Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out what to do or how to interact with the environment. I enjoyed exploring around and imagining the lore behind what could have created such a world. Awesome job at creating an immersive experience!
thank you! Yea it turns out that even after my best attempts people still don't know what to do.
what should we do?
you can talk to the big tree (by interacting with it with the left mouse button), and he will tell you what to do. If after 2 minutes you have not found what to do, particles will appear on important objects.
Fantastic game! Wonderful ambience, a simple but effective UI and game mechanic.
